Deep in the heart of the American South, a strain lurks among the hot, humid hills. Hillbilly Cubensis hails from Arkansas, and it’s a highly potent member of the Cubensis fungi family. Its comparable to other members of that family, like Golden Teachers and Amazonians. Cubensis strains are among the most prolific and powerful magic mushrooms around, and these Hillbillies are an exemplary example of these quality genetics.
- Unique subtype of Psilocybe Cubensis family
- Middle-of-the-road trip: not too powerful, not weak
- May induce hallucinations, time dilation, and other effects
Hillbilly Cubensis have a similar appearance to other Cubensis strains. It features a long, thin stalk that tapers as it moves upwards. Its cap is a long, wide circle, rather than the droopy, long caps that some other types of magic mushrooms have. Its colour is a rusty, orange hue, deeper towards the centre of the cap and lighter around the edges.
Effects and Use
The active ingredient in Hillbilly Cubensis is psilocybin, a powerful psychedelic molecule. It’s in the same chemical family as LSD, and the two share some similar effects. Hillbilly Cubensis may have several acute effects on the body, including:
- Fits of giggling
- Yawning fits
- Tingly body rush
- Distorted perception of time
It’s imperative to use the right dosage when taking magic mushrooms. While they’re non-toxic and you can’t overdose, taking too much can result in an overwhelming experience, also known as a “bad trip.” These temporary experiences can involve paranoia and fear, lasting for a few hours before dispersing. Take between 1 and 1.5 grams for best results.
